Oolong Tea Processing 9/2007

KS Fang and CTAHR's Dwight Sato with fresh picked Volcano Tea
On Wednesday September 5th, K.S. Fang from Taiwan will demonstrate processing Oolong tea harvested on the Big Island and hold tastings and discussions regarding Taiwan tea standards and the industry.

Mr. Fang‘s Bio
K.S. Fang is a 3rd generation tea farmer and merchant operating a tea business in Taipei, Taiwan. He is a member of the Taiwan Tea Manufacturer Association and often visits Hawaii. He has been teaching the processing and tasting of teas at workshops held in conjunction with the College of Tropical Agriculture and the Hawaii Tea Society.
