Please read the announcements below regarding a new release of tea cuttings, also information about our next meeting and news from Maui Aloha Aina Association. |
| Tea Cuttings Available |
For
those that are interested in CSO tea cuttings, the Tropical Plant Genetic
Resources management unit will make a limited distribution of ten to twenty 8 to
10 inch long cuttings (depending on availability).
Date: October 16 through October 19,
2007
Time: Between the hours of 8:00 am
and 3:30 pm
Place: USDA, ARS, Clonal Germplasm
Repository at the Waiakea Research Station on Stainback
Highway.
Please bring your own bucket for the
cuttings.
If you
are interested in picking up some CSO cuttings, please send Francis Zee an email
(Francis.zee@ars.usda.gov) or call
808-959-5833 with you name, home address and phone number by October 10,
2007.

Annual Meeting
|
Our next Hawai`i Tea Society event will be our annual meeting, to be held the end of October or beginning of November. Please watch for more information coming soon. If you have any ideas or special requests or suggestions, please email membership@hawaiiteasociety.org as soon as possible.
We are also still looking for members or new members that might be interested in serving as an officer or on the Board of Directors.
We appreciate any comments or suggestions you might have.

Body & Soil Conference on Maui
|
 Occasionally, the Hawai`i Tea Society will send out information that is not directly related to the tea society. We will do this when we feel that there might be a general interest for and event or an article.
Maui Aloha Aina Association is a 501c3 organization, whose mission is to "Promote life nurturing practices for the body and the soil through education and outreach."
